Bruce is based in Carbonear, and is licensed to fish snow crab, and groundfish. He's also a seasoned sealer

Scott Spurvey, Captain Over 40' Fleet 

Scott is based in Fox Harbour, and is owner-operator of the Valerie Lynn, a 44’11 vessel that fisheries crab and sea cucumber. His family’s connection to the fishery traces back to 1720.

Allister Russel, Area Rep 2J 

Based in Mary's Harbour, Labrador, Allister is owner-operator of the Russell’s Legacy, an 88-foot vessel that fishes snow crab, northern shrimp, redfish and herring.

Bruce Short, Area Rep 3K 

Bruce is a third-generation fisherman who fishes of Lushes Bight-Beaumont, and operates the JP Enterprises, a 39’11 vessel that fishes lobster cod, turbot, and squid.

Jason Sullivan is owner-operator of the Atlantic Outlaw, a 39-foot fishing vessel based out of Bay Bulls. Jason fishes snow crab, caplin, cod, and turbot.

EX-OFFICIO (NON-VOTING MEMBERS) 

Mervin Wiseman is a well-known advocate for fishing vessel safety, and search and rescue in the province.

Terry Ryan and his son Josh of La Scie operate the Atlantic Bluefin Too, an inshore enterprise that fishes northern shrimp and turbot, among other species.
