An electronic auction would do the job, open to buyers around the world so that the crab would fetch the highest possible price. Such a system would be 100% transparent, and as free-market as it gets. Only an auction is a waste of time to talk about around here, because the union/buyers won’t hear of it (for obvious reasons).
